Shri SD Kumar Sabha was established by Hon’ble Kulwant Rai Gupta jee who served the society for about 50 years and still his grandson Sh.Vijay Gupta(USA) is a regular donor. His another grandsons are in India and take keen interest in the uplift of all the Institutions. Good luck to them.

Birji Dassondhi Ramji was the Saarthi of the Sabha and Sh.Kulwant Rai Guipta ji and Seth Chiranji Lal ji were the Arjan to the Sabha.
At the Hospital always work on the ethics of “no profit-no loss”. It was the dream of Seth Chiranji Lal Aggarwal (late) for providing cheap or free medical aid to the public at large by expert available doctors .

The hospital was inaugurated on 6th March, 1977 by the then Chief Minister of Punjab, Giani Zail Singh Ji who later became the President of India. The Hospital is presently of 50 bedded services , built on ample land around 9500 sq. yds . It is located near main Bus Stand & Railway Station on Rajpura Road, Patiala and as such, it is easily approachable to all needed.

The Hospital building is equiped with three well maintained operation theatres for Surgery, Eye and Gynae stream of medical care. There are 10 Special rooms and four general wards. It has its own well equipped Laboratory, X-Ray digital, C-Arm, Physiotherapy Centre etc.
It has its own power back up by way of 125 KVA silent generator set. Now solar power generation has been installed.

The Hospital has well qualified and experienced doctors in various medical streams viz. for General Surgery, Orthopedics, Eyes ailments , Gynae, ENT, Physiotherapy ,Medicine, Dental, Urology, Plastic Surgery, Chest Specialist treatment and doctors are giving their well rich experienced services.

We pray more and more philanthropists come forward to contribute their best to keep the spirit of Service illuminated for the cause of society.
